CV Studio

CV maker for jobs in Saudi Arabia

Build a professional CV from 12 templates and export it to Word or PDF in a couple of minutes — with a live A4 preview so what you export is what you saw.

Runs in the browser. Data is saved on the server, so every device sees the same records.

Why it matters

Two readers, and only one of them is human

A CV sent to a Saudi employer is usually read twice: once by an applicant tracking system that wants plain, parseable structure, and once by a person who has thirty others to get through. A layout that pleases only the second reader never reaches them.

There is also information a Gulf application expects that a European template has no field for — visa and iqama status, notice period, whether your certificates are attested. Leaving it out does not make it optional; it makes it a phone call you have to survive.

Features

What CV Studio gives you

12 templates

A range of layouts to start from, switchable at any point without re-entering your content.

Word and PDF export

Export to PDF for applying and to Word for when a recruiter asks for an editable copy — a request that comes up often in the region.

Live A4 preview

See the actual page as you type, with zoom, so nothing shifts unexpectedly on export.

Colour control

A solid tone or a dual-colour gradient, with primary and secondary colours and quick accent swatches.

Seven font styles

Template default, Serif, Sans, Modern, Grotesk, Editorial or Mono — set the tone without touching the layout.

Photo handling

Include a photo or not; circle, rounded or square; with effects and an accent ring or soft shadow if you want one.

All the standard sections

Personal details with custom fields, professional summary, experience, education, skills with suggestions, languages, certifications and references.

Team accounts

Sub-users with Editor or Viewer roles, if you are preparing CVs for other people rather than only your own.

How it works

From blank page to PDF

Fill in the sections

Personal details, summary, experience, education and skills — with custom fields for anything the standard set does not cover.

Pick a look

Choose a template, set the colours and font, and decide on the photo. The A4 preview updates as you go.

Export

Download as PDF to apply, or as Word when a recruiter asks for something they can edit.

Questions

Frequently asked

Will the CV get through an applicant tracking system?

Choose one of the plainer templates and keep the structure conventional. Heavy multi-column design and text inside graphics are what tend to defeat parsing — the templates give you a choice, and for a role you actually want, plainer is the safer bet.

Should I include a photo?

Photos are common on CVs in the Gulf and the templates support them, with circle, rounded or square shapes. If you are also applying outside the region, keep a photo-free version — it takes one toggle.

Can I export to Word?

Yes, Word and PDF are both supported. Recruiters in the region ask for editable copies more often than you would expect, so it is worth having both.

Can I prepare CVs for other people?

Yes. Sub-users can be added with Editor or Viewer roles, which is useful if you are helping candidates rather than writing your own.
