Students
Enrolment records with the class and section each student belongs to, and an enrolment-by-class view on the dashboard.
EduSuite
Students, staff, classes, attendance and fees — the daily administration of a school in one system, with enrolment and fee collection visible without anyone building a spreadsheet.
Runs in the browser. Data is saved on the server, so every device sees the same records.
Why it matters
A child who misses one day most weeks never triggers anything on a paper register. No single absence looks serious and nobody is adding them up. The value of a digital register is not that it is faster to mark — it is that it can be read across weeks.
Fees have the same shape. Scattered across a spreadsheet, a bank statement and someone's memory, the balance is disputable. In a single ledger it becomes arithmetic, not accusation — and that changes the conversation with a family entirely.
Features
Enrolment records with the class and section each student belongs to, and an enrolment-by-class view on the dashboard.
Staff records alongside the students, so class assignments come from one place.
The structure the register and the fee schedule both hang off, defined once.
Marked in the room during the session rather than copied up later, with the day's snapshot on the dashboard.
Changes — a child marked late after arriving — are recorded as changes rather than silently overwriting the original mark.
Fee records per student, with a collection-status view showing what has been paid and what is outstanding.
A running list of recent fee payments, so reminders can be checked against reality before they go out.
Records live on the server and are visible across devices, so the office and the classroom see the same data.
How it works
Set the structure first — the register and the fee schedule both depend on it.
Add students to their sections and record teachers alongside them.
Mark attendance in the room, record fee payments as they arrive, and read the dashboard rather than rebuilding it.
Questions
Yes — the point is to mark it in the room during the session rather than transcribing a paper register afterwards, which is where errors and delays come from.
A change is recorded as a change. A child marked absent who arrives late should leave a trail, not quietly become present with no record that anything happened.
The collection-status view and the recent-payments list let you check a reminder against the payment record before sending it. A reminder sent to someone who already paid costs you more credibility than the reminder was worth.
The sensible baseline is not software-specific: collect only what you need, restrict access by role, test that your backups actually restore, and get written consent before using photographs.
